" We were able to shoot on the rooftop at famed San Diego Nightclub and Resturant Stingaree. Mikey and I literally had a few hours to choose our spots, set up, style and shoot with no assistants. The 3 models we awesome to work with on such late notice. In LA i can pull models together last minute, no problem but in SD was a challenge. Junior here work production for me on any shoots that require construction. He's studying Interior Design. Sherry is a model residing in San Diego. Mike Amorillo is a graffitti artist and works at Hard Rock in Downtown."

PREQUEL MAGAZINE Issue 02. Theme: 'Lost in this Cold Desert' Guest Photographer: Brandon Savoy
"I think Carlyle (Founder) and Mikey (Photo Editor) had been talking about this concept of doing a shoot for all snowboard gear in the desert. Working on a location like this has a different set of challenges for styling. You never know hw the contrast of the landscape is going to drown out
or compliment the outfits. You really got to get with the photography and understand his vision. Mikey brought in designer/photographer Brandon Savoy for this shoot, who was amazing. He was very clear on his vision and that makes it easy for me to work."

"The 1st issue of Prequel was shot in Lakewood, Los Angeles. I remember it being hot as sh*t out there so I gotta give it up to the models for being patient. This sort of theme of recreation was the basis for the shoot. Which lent itself
well to the colors from the garments and even the colorways on the footwear. Before we had the concept I was afaid of the vast contrast in some of the pieces I really liked."

PREQUEL MAGAZINE Issue 0. Theme: 'Artist & Inspiration' Photo Editor: Mikey T
"Okay. So here was my first shoot styling for the mag. This was the preview issue and Mikey and I had to slam together shooting all these artists in a small amoubt of time.
I remember it being peticularly tough because I was beginning to offically launch the Jp line that month. Not so much of a creative job as it was fitting the individual artists and
pairing them with styles they felt comfortable with. Meeting Blaine (Fontana) in his Long Beach loft was dope. I'm a fan of his work. "
